100% OOC drama banned but 100% IC drama mandatory

Welcome to Adero. The following rules should be followed. If you have any questions or are in doubt about any rule don’t hesitate to ask an admin.

• After registering please change your display name to your character name. Display it in lower capitals for example cairo rocko moran.

• At Adero we believe in equality and freedom however OOC drama is not allowed. There is a zero tolerance policy and will result in an immediate ban. It ruins a nice atmosphere & turns it into a warzone. So if you want to have drama, take it somewhere else.

• An application must be completed and posted in correct code or it will not be accepted. After a member has completed a certain amount of applications they may be eligible to fill in a short application. It is admin discretion though.

• One thing I would like to make clear. Please do not post anywhere with an account that has not been sorted into any group. Please follow this rule because we don't want people running around posting when they haven't been sorted. Please note that you are able to make a post in the face claim thread which can be located here.

• We do have a 100 word limit. It's not fair if someone writes a really good long post then you reply with a few sentences. All we ask is that you give a minimum reply of 100 words.

 

• Keep it pg-13! You must keep within the proboards guidelines which prohibits glorifying drugs. If you want to rp sex don't be explicit. For example say Caden & Rora got in bed.. *hour later* you know what I mean? However I may provide a passworded board. Swearing is allowed but censor it. Be mature about how you use words as we are keeping it pg-13. Drinking is allowed but once again keep it pg-13. I can’t stress that enough. We cannot violate proboard guidelines.

 

• I understand that we all have lives that take precedence so no harassing people to reply 10 minutes after a reply. Try & be a bit patient. 

• God modding isn't allowed unless the other character gives you permission. Mary/Gary sues are not permitted. Nobody is perfect okay?

 

• Racial or homophobic abuse or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated & will result in an automatic ban. 

• I understand that not everyone is going to get on. But if you have an issue PM the other person involved or just simply avoid them. Do not make your dispute public. Like i said no drama mmkay?

• There are no major character restrictions at the moment, but once you reach a certain number say.. 8, please let the admins know you will be able to work with all of your accounts and be able to keep them all active. So you can have as many as you can cope with. We are not accepting any alphas at the moment. However in the future if numbers go uneven I may impose a ban on a certain group e.g. werewolves or vampires. 

• No major life changes without permission. So no turning or getting bitten. However with marriages I am more lenient. I just ask that you inform me via a pm but don't be unrealistic. 15 year olds aren't getting married. Pregnancies will be allowed but depending on the age but for that you shall need to discuss with an admin on how it happened (we know how it happened but..) would your character be pregnant because of a one night stand or is your character in a relationship, either way we would advise you to talk to one of our admins and we will talk about the idea further and then we will get back to you as soon as we have worked out if we are going to let you go through with it.

• Killing of characters may be permitted but only with the permission of an admin. There must be, however, a good reason e.g. to progress a plot. Death is a really touchy subject so please really think about what you want to happen and make sure the plot line really goes well and is something that is going to get done and won't be dragged out for months on end, everything will need to be planned out even down to the very smallest detail if it's not then it will not be happening.

• Please do not steal any one's graphics. If we find someone stealing any graphics you will be given a weeks ban and we will expect an apology to the graphic designer behind the graphics. Graphics are something that take time and effort, graphic designers really try with what they are making to make sure the graphics fit the request. Please do not have graphics that stretch our boards, if that happens I will personally (JJ?! ) edit your account and resize your graphic to something suitable to what we expect, there are no sizes that you need to follow but please don't stretch our boards and please do not put too many graphic in your space, the pages need to be able to load properly. Keep your face claim real & realistic. No animations are accepted for face claim. Code for application is ephemeral.

• Cbox rules: No advertising in the cbox! Respects other members. If you respect people they will respect you. Be mature about what you say especially when it comes to swearing. Censor your words. Also no bullying or any form of abuse in the cbox or ooc, or you will be banned.

• Lastly Respect. Admin word is final. No arguments. Try and argue and your a goner!
