[/ul][/font]So it was time to try out for Quidditch and Esme should pass this with flying colours and hopefully make it onto the Ravenclaw Team for term 13. If she didn't it would be totally cool but she hasn't done this in a term or two and she has missed it dearly as it is her favourite sport to do and it was always cool to be part of a team, she did put her name for captain but she was going to take her name back out when she heard someone new was looking to be captain this term and that was also totally cool, she only put her name down for the fun of it but she would like to pass it onto someone new as she feels as it is always good to experience it once and she has already been the captain for the Ravenclaw team so yeah, she'll give it a pass on this one. Though when she was captain she did lead her team to win. Though she could still help out with whatever she does if she make the final cut onto the team, she has heard they're are some pretty good people trying out this term so she had her work cut out for her. Though she would always be a fan of the sport even if she didn't make it so they're was no love lost here if she wasn't picked for the team.
The only reason she was trying out for this term was because it was her last term as a Hogwarts student and it will be her last chance to play for her house team, she would always come back and play a special game if it was to ever happen but that would probably be a long shot if that was to ever happen because that was asking a lot of people to do so though it was a cool idea? She was ready for today's try outs and she knew she would try her very hardest to make the final cut, she has been out to refresh her skills on the pitch on stuff as she was a little bit rusty after being away for a year or longer. But it was like she has never left as soon as she got onto her broomstick, the only thing is she hoped Calvin would try out for the Hufflepuff team so that it would be more fun to try and win against him, just a little bit of couple rivalry that's all, it would be fun and it would give them something to tease the other about, just some harmless fun though I guess it could cause some complications if that was to actually happen. Even at that they could agree not to let it affect there personal relationship, though sometimes that doesn't actually work so it would be awkward if one won and the other lost.
She would probably win haha. If only they could be on the same team then it would be completely fine, there would be no worries what so ever but she was only dreaming there because that would never ever happen he's a Hufflepuff and she was a Ravenclaw and she would never change that for the world, she loves her house and she was a very proud Ravenclaw. Making her way down to the Quidditch pitch Esme had a smile on her face as all the memories started to come flying back to her, the moment her team won when she was captain was amazing, the feeling of having your house win the cup was just out of this world, so she would work hard to make sure they won again. It was a must to be perfectly honest. Thinking about everything as she walked down put her in a really good mood but let's hope that nothing today spoils it, she loves to be in a good mood and it was usually hard to get her out of it but some people really know how to push her buttons but today that was off limits and she was focusing on making sure she made it onto the team one last time. She got to the pitch and stood with the rest of the Ravenclaw house waiting for the instructions to be given out and then she would be off trying to earn her spot on the house team. Fingers crossed she gets onto it or all this hard work would be for nothing I guess.
When she was standing with the Ravenclaw house she looked around and she noticed a few faces, but she didn't know who they were like she had never met them before but she has heard that they were really good at what they were signing up for so she had to really go for it and try not to think about it. When she got that they were really good the nerves started to really kick into her and her hands started to shake a little with the nerves, that is something people would never of guessed of Esme... She got nervous and shy around people specially when she has to do things like this, before she never had to try out or at least she cannot remember if she did or not but hopefully this would be a piece of cake and she won't have to worry the way she is when she is on her broom and when she is showing them how it's done, she was going for the spot of seeker and she knew she was fast and with the new style of broomstick that was pretty fast she knew she had a better advantage of getting seeker. Looking around she noticed Summer was the new Head of House for Ravenclaw. She had heard something about that happening but she thought it was just a rumor but it was great to know it was her friend who was taking the house and she knew would lead them on to win.
Esme may look like a girlie girl but she was not one to mess with, she was one to stand her ground and to never back down, probably because she was really stubborn at times and she knew she had to stand up for herself but that was how it was around here, you had to be strong or you had to give in and run like a little b*tch to be honest, as sad as that sounds but Quidditch was not a game for kids to be playing, it was meant for the ... Big kids? Haha. You had to be able to take a lot to be do something like this, it may not seem like it but it does. Because she's already been through all the stress and stuff that's how she knows, and it is probably how she is more prepared for this term and why she didn't back out of the try outs like she wanted to in the first place though she had Calvin to thank for pushing her into this, she just hoped that maybe he would make it along to her try out for some support, she could really use some right now and he was the only one who really knew her and he would be the only one to tell that she was a little shaken up by all the other students out here. Thinking about it is weird, has Esme started to soften up a little bit and let things get to her? Or was it just a one off thing?
As Esme was going for the Seeker position on the school team she knew she would have to perform well if she was wanting to get it. After watching everyone else having they're go at the sport, she got onto her broom and soon she was off and sitting waiting on the snitch to appear in front of her, she didn't really want to sly around going for something she couldn't see yet, only when the snitch wants to be seen is when she would be able to go. Not long after getting into the air the snitch caught her eye and she was off like a shot, as she had the new model broomstick it was faster than normal so she had a better chance of catching it, at least in the try outs anyways when it was just her going for it at the moment. She chased the snitch around for a good two and a half minutes (random time, I know) and she managed to catch it. That has to be the fastest time she has been able to catch the damn thing. But that was still a pretty good time to have. Once she caught the snitch she made her way back down to the ground, she got off her broom and went over to Summer and smiled. "Think you might want this back." She smiled handing the snitch back over.
